There are several parking spaces located at the front of the building and the rear of the building.
Transport is available to people after an assessment of needs has been completed by care manager.
Travel Training:
Travel training is the process by which a person learns to travel a specific route, between two different places, on their own and in a safe responsible way. This trip can be as simple as someone finding their way to the corner shop or as complicated as learning a difficult route to another town or city.
There may be many barriers to consider and consequently the whole process can be complex. Therefore the training is conducted on a one to one basis and follows a unique learning programme specifically designed to meet the individual requirements of each trainee. The training programme is thoroughly planned and well supported as the most important part of the work we do is to assess the risks of a trainee’s journey to ensure that travel is safe and as stress free as possible.
Travel training can be accessed through Robertson Road Resource Centre to anyone who is over the age of 16 years, has a disability, displays a willingness to learn and has a commitment to succeed.
